Concussion in Sport Webinar - June 4 - FREE!

Sports Medicine Australia are holding a Concussion in Sport webinar on Monday evening June 4 from 7pm-8pm. This is an opportunity for those who were unable to attend the face-to-face Concussion in Sport workshops held across the state in the last few months to hear the relevant information and ask questions.

What’s the webinar about?

Concussion is a significant and complex health issue within the Australian sporting landscape at all levels of play. Sports Medicine Australia and the NSW Office of Sport have partnered to deliver a webinar aiming to provide those in attendance with a greater knowledge of concussion, its prevalence, signs and symptoms, recognition and management, return to play and long-term issues. Hosted by leading concussion researcher, Dr Andrew Gardner (University of Newcastle), the webinars will provide sports trainers, community sport stakeholders and sports medicine professionals involved in sport with an in depth, detailed analysis of current concussion assessment tools and an open forum to ask questions and discuss ideas.

Time: Monday June 4, 7pm-8pm

Venue: Your device (eg. laptop, tablet, personal computer)

This webinar is free, but registration is essential.

Go Fund the Pittwater Baseball Clubhouse!

After 15 years of discussion, consultation, debate and frustration Pittwater Baseball Club is about to say farewell to a rusted out sea container, dilapidated kiosk, toilets and club room as we welcome a new clubhouse, canteen, amenities (male & female change rooms) and storage facility to be built at North Narrabeen Reserve.

The design is finalised and tenders for the delivery of the new facility close with Northern Beaches Council on Thursday 22nd March with construction expected to commence within the next 6-8 weeks.

As a member of the Pittwater Community we ask for your support in assisting this great local sporting organisation raise the final $10,000 with a donation to this Gofundme page.

All donors will be formally recognised in PBC's 2019 Year Book.
